What is the best way to allocate diary time for video consultations?

Every practice is different and we've found that it's a good idea to simply test what your leads prefer.

When booking time in your diary for video consultations we've learnt that it's a good idea to run a test to see what your leads want.

A good way to do this is to have the slots split up over three days.

On the first day open up time in the morning, on the second day try the afternoon and on the third day try the evening.

That way you can gauge and measure what is most popular and what works best for your audience.

Then if you're noticing, for example, that most people are booking in the evenings, then perhaps the second day should also have some evening availability.

If you're just doing video consultations for the first time and don't want to set aside too much valuable diary time just yet, we suggest that you open slots in your lunch break or early evening.

That way you can gauge demand and adapt accordingly without putting prime diary time at risk.
